Typically Swedish Koettbullar – meatballs and fresh mushrooms in a delicious, creamy sauce.

You need fresh:
- 14.1 oz of ground meat (pork, beef or mixed)
- 5.29 oz of mushrooms
- 3.38 fl.oz (1/2 cup) of whipping cream or half & half
Preparation:
- Season the ground meat with salt and pepper and form approx. 15 small meatballs. Clean mushrooms and cut into quarters.
- Brown meatballs in some hot oil on medium heat about 6 minutes all around. Add mushrooms and sauté with the meatballs.
- Slide the meatballs on a side of the skillet, add 1 1/2 cups of cold water and 1/2 cup (3.38 fl.oz) of whipping cream or half & half and stir in the content of this package. Bring to a boil while stirring and cook on low heat for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Tip: Serve the Swedish meatballs with potatoes or mashed potatoes and a dab of lingonberries (cranberries).
